Questions we hear a lot
Do I need to be tech-savvy to set this up? +
Not at all. If you can fill out a form online, you can set up ZipHQ. The whole setup takes about 5 minutes — you enter your company name, add your crew, and you're live. We also offer free setup help over a screen share if you get stuck.
Does my crew need to download an app? +
No download required. On iPhone, they open the link in Safari and tap "Add to Home Screen" — it installs like a native app with your company name and icon. On Android it's the same process. No App Store, no updates to manage.
What carriers and companies does it support? +
Any carrier you work with. During setup you add your own carrier names — there are no hardcoded company names. Whether you work with national van lines, regional carriers, or direct customers, you just add them to your list. You can also add their portal URLs so one click takes you straight to their dashboard.
Is my data safe? Can other companies see it? +
Your data is completely isolated from every other company on ZipHQ. Your company's data stays private and secure. All connections are encrypted. Only your admin accounts can access your jobs, crew, and records. No one else can see your data.
How does the route planner work? +
On the Pro plan, the route planner uses Google Maps to optimize stop order across 1, 2, or 3 vans. It automatically puts First AM jobs first, clusters jobs by area, and calculates real driving times between stops. You can add misc stops, find nearby gas stations, and print a full route sheet for your crew. No setup required — it's all included.
What is the worksheet scanner? +
On the Pro plan, you can take a screenshot of any carrier's job sheet, paste it into ZipHQ, and AI reads it automatically — extracting the customer name, address, order number, date, and tasks. It works with any carrier format. Instead of typing each job manually, you paste a screenshot and hit Apply. Takes about 5 seconds per job.
Can I switch plans or cancel any time? +
Yes to both. Upgrade from Basic to Pro any time and the difference is prorated for the rest of the month. Cancel any time — no contracts, no cancellation fees. Your data is available to export for 30 days after cancellation.
What happens after my free trial ends? +
You'll get an email reminder 3 days before your 14-day trial ends. If you choose to continue, you enter your payment info and keep going. If not, your account pauses — your data is saved for 30 days in case you change your mind. No automatic charges without your action.
What if I need help? +
Email support is included on both plans. Pro subscribers also get priority support with faster response times. For setup help, we offer free 20-minute screen share sessions — just email us and we'll get you sorted.
